Follow the steps below to configure Outlook 2000 for SMTP Authentication.

How to Configure Outlook 2000 for SMTP Authentication for Internet Only
  1. Open Outlook 2000.

  2. From the Tools menu, choose Account.

  3. Double-click your email account hosted with Nella Net in the list.

  4. Click on the Servers tab.

  5. Check the box next to My server requires authentication.
  6. Click the Settings button.

  7. Select Log on using.
  8. In the Account name field, type your entire email address (e.g., johndoe@inkblotstudio.com).
  9. In the Password field, type your password.
  10. Check the box next to Remember password if you would like the password to be saved.
  11. Click the OK button.

  12. Click the OK button.

  13. Click the Close button.
